  EBRS 2006: our business titles are the most efficient to reach the Senior Business community.  
     
   
     
 

EBRS 2006 is the sixteenth of a series of surveys first published in 1973. The survey provides information on the business responsibilities and media consumption of the most influential business decision makers in Europe. EBRS 2006 covers a universe of 441.746 senior business individuals, in 60.935 companies in 17 European countries.

Here is a brief overview of our business and financial titles in EBRS 2006.

 

Finland - EBRS covers a universe of 7.233 Senior Business Decision makers.

Among dailies, Kauppalehti reaches 73% of this universe, compared to 78% for the general newspaper Helsingin Sanomat and 44% for Taloussanomat, the second business daily.

Kauppalehti is considered as an important business reading by 33% of Finnish senior managers, while 12% of them name Helsingin Sanomat and 9% Taloussanomat.

Among periodicals, Talouselama (weekly) and Optio (fortnightly) have the highest reach: 76 and 75%.

France - EBRS covers a universe of 58.904 Senior Business Decision makers.

Les Echos is the most read daily paper by the senior business community with a reach of 56%, followed by Le Monde and Le Figaro (respectively 31 and 29%). The second business daily La Tribune has a reach of 24%.

28% consider Les Echos as an important reading for their job, compared to 8% for La Tribune and 4% for Le Monde.

Enjeux Les Echos confirms year on year as the leading business magazine for senior executives with 56% reach, ahead of Capital (37%), L’Expansión (29%) and Challenge (27%).

Greece - EBRS covers a universe of 3.091 Senior Business Decision makers.

Naftemporiki (business paper) is the leading daily on Greek Senior Business Executives (56% reach), followed by Kathimerini (45%), To Vima (34%) and Imerissia (33%).

Naftemporiki is also first among titles considered important reading for the professional activity: 27%.

Italy - EBRS covers a universe of 25.470 Senior Business Decision makers.

Among dailies, EBRS confirms the strong position of the 3 main dailies with 81% reach for the business daily Il Sole 24 Ore, 63% for Corriere della Sera and 49% for La Repubblica.

Among weeklies and monthlies, the newsmagazine L’Espresso is the most read title by top managers (48% reach), followed by Panorama (43%) and the business titles Milano Finanza (33%) and Il Mondo (28%).

Norway - EBRS covers a universe of 7.131 Senior Business Decision makers.

Norway’s leading business daily Dagens Naeringsliv is first to reach the senior business managers (68%). The general daily Aftenposten reaches 63% of them and the second business daily Finansavisen comes 5th with a reach of 38%. Dagens Naeringsliv is also considered, on top of every other publication, as a must read for their job (44%).

Portugal - EBRS covers a universe of 8.162 Senior Business Decision makers.

Diario Economico is the most read business daily paper by Portuguese top manager with a reach of 53%. The other business daily, Jornal de Negocios, reaches 34%. Diario Economico is also chosen by 20% of the decision makers as an important daily to read for their job (Jornal de Negocios: 10% and Publico: 9%)

Spain - EBRS covers a universe of 23.930 Senior Business Decision makers.

Expansión is the reference among Spanish business dailies with a reach of 55%, compared to 30% for Cinco Dias and 18% for La Gaceta de los Negocios. Expansión comes also first (35%) as important business reading, in front of El Pais (17%), Cinco Dias (15%) and El Mundo (9%).

Among magazines, the weekly business magazine Actualidad Economica records the highest reach (44%) among Spanish decision makers, ahead of the business monthlies Emprendedores (28%) and Dinero (25%).
