According to Spain’s circulation audit (OJD), the national quality daily newspaper El Mundo has recorded an average circulation of 327.229 copies between January and September 2006, representing an increase of 14.061 copies (+4,5%) compared to the same period in 2005.

Comparing same periods, the circulation of El Pais has gone down by 6,9% at 437.109 copies while the other national newspaper ABC has recorded a dramatic drop of 13,4% at 242.712 copies.
