According to circulation audit OJD, Spain’s leading business and financial daily newspaper Expansión has increased its circulation in March 2007 by 6,9%, reaching 58.610 copies. This confirms a circulation growth initiated in 2004.
Expansión is the only Spanish business daily that has a paid circulation, as defined by OJD. Both business dailies “Cinco Dias” and “Gaceta de los Negocios” are classified in the “mixed circulation” category with less than 50% copies sold at full price (29% for Cinco Dias and 18% for Gaceta de los Negocios).

Among business dailies, Expansión also increases the leadership in audience, as monitored by the last wave of the readership survey EGM (2007.1). With 182.000 readers (12.000 more than EGM 2006.3), it triples the audience of Cinco Dias (64.000). Gaceta de los Negocios is third with 44.000 readers.
